Western Law releases update to strategic plan

Western Law's Strategic Plan "Achieving Excellence on the World Stage" was released in early 2014. Since then, much has changed at Western Law and in the landscape of Canadian legal education, leading to the release of an interim update approved by Faculty Council last fall.
The revised version focuses on the faculty's three broad strategic priorities:

Attracting excellent JD candidates with a range of perspectives and experiences, and reducing unwarranted barriers to access.

Offering an academically rigorous and relevant legal education in an atmosphere that promotes informed, critical and collegial debate.

Producing outstanding scholarship that engages the academy, profession, policy-makers, and society.
