Western Law Awarded $2.8M Law Foundation of Ontario Grant

Western Law is proud to announce a $2.805 million, three‑year Comprehensive Program grant from The Law Foundation of Ontario, supporting high‑impact initiatives from 2026 to 2029 that expand access to justice, strengthen experiential learning, and advance equity in legal education.
This significant investment will support Western Law’s clinics and community‑based legal services, paid public‑interest internships and articling placements, reconciliation‑focused curriculum initiatives, and mentorship and pipeline programs that open pathways into the legal profession. Together, these initiatives deepen student learning while delivering meaningful legal support to communities across Ontario.
