Western Law Selects Team for National Client Consultation Competition

2025 BLG Client Consultation Competition Winners - Kirti Sahota and Jasleen Gadhri
Western Law is pleased to announce that Kirti Sahota and Jasleen Gadhri will represent the Faculty at the Canadian Client Consultation Competition in Victoria, BC in 2026. Sahota and Gadhri were selected as winners of this year's internal Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG) Client Consultation Competition, held on Thursday, November 20, 2025.
The competition also recognized runner-up team Melvin Maroon and Ben Radovitzky, along with finalist teams Nika Bajaj and Brittany Borg, Parsa Rezaei and Edward Jang, and Athena Morad Far and Gabrielle Tavazzani.
"This competition highlights the importance of exceptional communication and consultation skills. These skills will be an integral part of these students' future legal careers. We had 35 teams participate this year and to see so many students commit to developing these skills through their participation in this event is commendable" said Professor Jeffrey Warnock, the competition's faculty supervisor. "I'm proud of every participant's dedication and professionalism."
The competition was organized with assistance from Carson Easy and Lyndon Pelletier, along with student volunteers who performed as client actors.
Western Law extends its gratitude to BLG LLP for their generous support of the competition and to the BLG lawyers who served as judges.
