Wendi Locke

Wendi Locke is a partner in the Corporate Finance and Mergers and Acquisitions Group of McCarthy Tetrault LLP in Toronto. She advises on a broad range of corporate and securities law matters, including corporate governance and compliance issues, as well as matters relating to securities trading and adviser regulations.
Ms. Locke regularly acts on both public and private offerings of investment products and securities, including retail mutual funds and closed-end investment trusts. Her recent experience includes the establishment of a medium term note program for a large financial institution, the establishment of a Canadian retail mutual fund operation, the initial public offering of common shares of a technology company, and an amalgamation of two Canadian financial institutions.
Ms. Locke received her BA (Public Administration) from University of Western Ontario in 1995, her B.Comm. (Hons.) from the University of Windsor in 1997 and her combined MBA/LLB from the University of Windsor in 2000. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2002.
