Western Law Internship Program (WLIP)
Through our thriving Western Law Internship Program (WLIP), students have the opportunity to intern with government departments, international organizations, corporations and firms. The WLIP provides students with the opportunity to expand their knowledge of international, domestic and comparative law issues while applying their legal skills in a professional environment. This enriched educational experience opens a new world of opportunities for students to succeed and prosper in an increasingly interdependent global system.
To learn more about the Western Law Internship Program, Western Law students are encouraged to attend the WLIP Information Sessions held during Fall term each year. This year's sessions will be held remotely via Zoom on Friday, October 30 @ 3:30 p.m. (Thornton Grout Finnigan LLP - World Bank Group Internship in Bankruptcy and Insolvency Law); Thursday, November 12 (general information session) @ 4:30 p.m. and one additional date in early February 2021; and the information session date for the Debwewin Summer Law Internship is TBD. All information session details and Zoom links will be available in the SLS Daily.
