Jana Steele
The Honourable Madam Justice Jana Steele, LLB'95, is a judge of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in Toronto.
Prior to her appointment, Justice Steele was a Partner and Chair of the Pensions & Benefits Department at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt in Toronto, and was recognized in numerous industry publications as a leading lawyer in the area of pensions and benefits.
During her time at Western Law, where she graduated with her LLB in 1995, Justice Steele was the President of the Law Society, and a recipient of the Denys C. Holland and Dean Ivan Rand awards. She also has an honours BComm from Queen’s University.
