Richard Bronaugh

Richard Bronaugh

BA (Oregon), MS Phd (Wisconsin), Blitt (Oxon); of the Law Society of Upper Canada

Professor Richard Bronaugh has taught at Western Law for eleven years, having taught the previous thirty-eight years in Western’s Department of Philosophy. He was a founding Editor and remains senior Editor of the Canadian Journal of Law and Jurisprudence, now entering its twenty-fifth year of publication. He thinks it is fair to say that he is as well known personally in the whole academic field as any other jurisprudence professor in Canada. He has published significantly with special interests in contract law and in globalization and global justice, not to mention a serious concern for that branch of political philosophy known as Jurisprudence or the philosophy of law.
